Frinton-on-sea is a quiet seaside town, known for its long, clean greensward, its immaculate sandy beaches and its historic tree lined avenues.
All your shopping can be done in Connaught Avenue, known as the "Bond Street" of East Anglia in the past. There are many churches of various denominations and only one pub that opened in 2002. Several restaurants and cafes offer refreshments .
The seafront is still lined by many victorian style beachhuts, reminiscent of the days when the town was a favourate retreat for the aristocracy and even royalty.
Spend some time watching tennis at the Frinton Lawn Tennis Club or maybe a game of golf at Frintons renowned golf club. Alternatively, if you prefer the sound of leather on Willow, perhaps a leisurely time watching the weekly cricket matches at the Frinton Cricket Club. All the clubs have a good social life and new members are always welcome.
If sport is not your thing then Frinton summer theatre put on weekly shows throughout the summer and are very entertaining.

Two local GP Surgeries service the people of Frinton and there are several dentists and opticians along Connaught Avenue.
